Next Jane’s Walk – Sunday 16th of December 2018
Jane’s Walk – This is a great event to learn about your town Leederville.
Leederville Connect is holding our second Leedy-Style “Jane’s Walk”.
Come along on a walk to hear from an expert on all things local Leederville, enjoy the start of summer with people from your community, tell us what makes your town great, and you’ll also hear stories about the history of Leederville and plans for the future.
Leederville Connect is holding a series of walks around Leederville. We’re a group of Leederville residents and business owners who work to keep Leederville as the amazing and vibrant urban village we’ve all come to know and love. You’re invited to join us as we create a Leedy-style “Jane’s walk”. This walk is the second in a series we will be holding this summer.
Jane Walks are named after Jane Jacobs, a writer and activist who advocated for everyday people (like you!) and the value of their knowledge in creating neighbourhood planning. Jane walks take around an hour and gives people a space to look, think, and talk about how we interact with the places we call home.
Everybody is welcome, so let’s get walking!
We’ll meet at the alfresco area in Oxford St Reserve – that is, the fixed tables and chairs opposite Cranked coffee.
